In the spirit of summer, the Covington Business Association presents the second annual Kokomo Stroll! Flip-flops and boat drinks will be a plenty as crowds fill the downtown streets strolling from business to business to taste the most scrumptious summer drinks! Each participating CBA member business will provide a different summer drink for patrons to sample. Live music - in keeping with the event's beachy theme - will be playing in the streets and at local establishments.

Don’t be afraid to get creative with your attire! Wear as much - or as little - as you want. (Hawaiian shirts, coconut bras, resortwear, etc. are encouraged!) Just make sure you come thirsty and leave refreshed.

All participants must be at least 21 years old.Check-in to pick up your cup will be from 3:30-5PM at the pickup location (TBD). Please note that in order to pick up your cup(s), you must present your photo ID associated with the name under which you purchased your ticket(s).

The Kokomo Stroll will be held rain or shine.

FOR BUSINESSES:
The Covington Business Association would like to invite you to participate in the second annual Kokomo Stroll in downtown Covington, which will feature specialty drinks outside CBA member businesses throughout the downtown area. The stroll itself will be held on Saturday, June 2nd from 4 - 7 PM, with music at each end of Columbia Street. Participation is open to CBA member businesses only, and there are a few ways you can participate.

CBA downtown businesses (St. John District):

You can be added as a stroll stop on the map. If you want to be included you will need to provide one alcoholic beverage tasting (2 oz. serving/person) for up to 1,000 strollers at your place of business (exact number will be confirmed as we get closer to the event). The beverage is completely up to you, but it should coincide with the theme, Kokomo Stroll (think boat drink, rum punch, margarita, pina colada, etc.). Businesses must also provide ONE non-alcoholic beverage option (soft drink, water, tea, etc.) at their stop. Note that the CBA will sell Kokomo Stroll commemorative cups to strollers in advance of the event, and businesses should ONLY serve to those individuals who have a stroll cup. Businesses are expected to serve their drink from 4-7PM.

Participating businesses are also encouraged to get in the spirit of the event by decorating their storefronts and serving tables, playing festive music, doing fun giveaways for stroll participants, etc. Feel free to get creative!

CBA businesses that are not located on the stroll route:

You can still participate! We have 20 tent spaces available on Columbia Street in block 200. You will need to provide your own 10 x 10 tent, table, décor, etc. You will need to provide one alcoholic beverage tasting (2 oz. serving/person) for up to 1,000 strollers at your tent (exact number will be confirmed as we get closer to the event). Participating businesses are also encouraged to get in the spirit of the event by decorating their tent and serving tables, displaying their business information, playing festive music, doing fun giveaways for stroll participants, etc.

Please contact Sarada Bonnett ASAP if you own a local business (and are a CBA member) and want to participate.
